I'm impressed with Jason Liebrecht as Syaoran. I thought he could only do serious tough guy characters till now.
Though one thing that's been driving me crazy: what does Tsubasa mean? I've narrowed it down to either wing or fragment.

Tsubasa I'm pretty sure means wing or wings... I think... I'm a japanaholic, but don't trust me on this. :/

Yes. I don't see the problem. Different cultures have different ways of pronouncing words. I've heard Japanese voice actors pronounce the name Howard.

I find it sad. They say it along the lines of "K'ro-g'neigh."

And the Japanese pronounce The name Howard "Hwardo". There's nothing wrong with that, so theres nothing wrong with how we pronounce their name.

Still.. I'm thinking they should've made more of an effort.. The name's romanized as 'Kurogane.' It's different in Japanese since you have to change the name into syllables instead of letters..
There are other names in TRC they've killed as well but none very significant..

I advise you, for the sake of your sanity, do not watch the dub... They killed the names so bad... >_<
