They just better aim it at an older audience so that I can be taken seriously by my classmates.

Well yeah, but they could at least have some cursing in the series like they do in the Japanese version.

They do not curse in the Japanese version. -___-

Those are simply our best English equivalents of the wording they use. It's a completely different culture, they even have different ways of saying 'I' and 'you' depending on their temperament.


Honestly, whatever box you're in, feel free to escape at any time. Kamen Rider and Super Sentai are programs created to be aimed at small children in Japan, and adapted to be aimed at small children in America. The only difference is each country's Standards & Practices.

I don't know, I think you could argue that they made it too mature. At the end of the day they have to make the show appeal to the target audience, who are the kids.
