Why didn't they just keep Titanium a villain longer?

It would have been great if Ranger Black was the finalie and Dillion wound up being our first truely evil Ranger. Poor Ziggy in that senario.

true but they could do that since it was actually in the footage. In Abaranger AbareKiller was evil until pretty much the episode he died in perhaps the episode before then.

Plus they only made him good early because Disney wanted it. So it goes more towards the op's line of thinking here.

Terence Smith should have become White Ranger and been an adversary. We could have had a nee Zeltrax once the old one found the gem.

They should have used the Demon Hunter instead. I don't know why they bothered to create their own Ranger. Especially with them barely using them.

probably because they would have needed to buy the suit in order to use it and they probably wanted the new Ranger to be a pilot for the Max Solarzord for a few episodes and the Demon Hunter's design just wouldn't fit for such a pilot.

I would have taking it a step further and made Titanium the big bad. How cool would that have been. It would have been a pretty bold move for the show. And the lack of footage can be gotten around by limiting his battles with the Rangers to when it counts.

It would have went on too long like the Zen-Aku arch. I could have taken a few more episodes of evil Titanium but not much more than that.

that really wouldn't have worked out that well since Queen Bansheera looks like she's the most powerful and the footage would have showed that as well.
