Is AJJ right to believe that Power Rangers hurt her carreer?

Its always been known that AJJ doesn't want to be associated with PR anymore, due to the fact that she thinks it has hurt her carreer. Not that she hates the show or her time on it. Just that she thinks being typecast hurt her chances of becoming a bigger star.

While I certainly think AJJ has a right to think this way. I have to disagree. Since you never know when you are going to get you're big break. Some people don't get more then one big break. Its possible that there wouldn't have been another one for her if she didn't take PR.

Plus she has been one of the most successful alums. She was even a regular on a popular WB drama. Sure she isn't a mega star. But few people are. Its not easy. Power Rangers could have even helped her get more roles then she would have. Just because it got her name out there. I'm not saying typcasting didn't hurt her. But we just don't know what would happen in a different senario.

The popular WB drama being Felicity, right? And she's also currently in Flashpoint. Yeah, she's pretty successful OK. PR can't have harmed her career - it launched it!

Yes, the popluar (well as popular as one can call it) WB drama is indeed Felicity but anyway in regards to the topic of this thread.

I can understand how Amy Jo feels about her time as a Power Ranger but I do agree with PRangerX that it's definitely possible that she only got those roles on Felicity and Flashpoint because of her time as Kimberly.

She is right to believe whatever she wants, regardless if it is true or not.

That's true, but I heard that she said once that PR was a great first job. It started her carreer, just like the carreers of other actors/actresses that worked on Power Rangers.
Besides, Kimberly was a great character.
