Zordon deserved the die anyway. He was a manipulator and if it wasn't for him there would be no war. He always made teenagers fight his battles. So it was only right for him to finally do something himself.

there would still be a war however since Rita and Zordon had been having their war for 10,000 years and because stupid astronauts freed Rita he needed to recruit beings that could fight her since he was unable to and Alpha wouldn't have been able to fight since he wasn't created to be a soldier.

Are you seriously telling me if someone attacks you that you're just going to take the beating and not defend yourself?

Zordon could have stopped the war in the beginning if he didn't wait around and have others fight for him. Zordon should have been more agressive and ended the war before it even started. Instead he was a coward who waited for the shit to hit the fan before he did anything.

how hilarious someone with such a massive ego would say that. How do you know he didn't try to? Can you see in the past? The only one that's a coward is you because all you want to be is a massive hater. You can't even say 1 single positive thing about anything in the series... every single thing with you is all negative. I've heard of people being a negative nancy but you're worse than that.

Fact is all we do know is Zordon and Rita had been waging war for years (at least 10,000 years if the Fan Club video is anything to go by) and even though most flashbacks only show Zordon's soldiers fighting Rita's monsters that doesn't mean he didn't do anything. You can't just factually claim that he did nothing when it's entirely possible he tried fighting but failed.

Zordon was a manupiulator in a lot of ways. But everything he did was for good. He is the reason why the forces of good won the war. He was far from a coward. Due to his involvement in the war he lost his body and wound up stuck in a time warp for ten thousand years. Once that happened it was hard for him to directly get involved until "Countdown To Destruction".

Its silly to call Zordon a coward. Zordon was the leader of all good when he was alive. He did everything he could to protect the galaxy. Even sacrificing his life force to save it. The war couldn't.be avioded.

Come on massive ego , its a children's show. You're reading into it way too much. Zordon was a hero to all the kids and would never be written to do anything wrong.

Yes Zordon was a manipulator in a lot of ways but his manipulation is what eventually lead to a victory over the United Alliance of Evil. I agree completely with you in regards to him being unable to do much of anything once he was caught in the time warp since all he could do was communicate with the people of Earth through it his hands were tied otherwise.

I completely agree. He was the leader of all good forces when he was alive and he tried to do everything that he could in order to protect not just the galaxy but the universe and when the chips were down he realized the only way to stop the United Alliance of Evil was to sacrifice himself even though that meant he would die... a coward does not sacrifice themself a coward continues to fight the good fight until they're dead themselves.

indeed it's a kids show. The show is marketed towards kids so it's never going to be as dark or gritty as stuff like Smallville, Cops and some of those various shows that air on NBC, ABC and FOX. Those shows are made with adults in mind Power Rangers itself is not made with adults in mind it is made with kids in mind.

Zordon was a true hero. He couldn't stop the war but he sure made sure the Rangers had a chance to win it.

I do think the show outgrew Zordon. It was time to move on. But he was still a cool mentor for the Rangers.
