Was Divatox ever Dark Specter's heir?
No I don't mean to imply that was something the writers considered then dropped. But in-show was she Dark Specter's original choice for an heir? Throughout Turbo she is referred to as the Queen of Evil (okay maybe only like twice but still) and then in From out of nowhere Elgar mentions how Astronema is the new Queen of evil. And of course Astronema is named Dark Specter's heir. And throughout the season Divatox was extremely jealous of Astronema's position as Specter's favorite.

I don't think anyone was really meant to be the heir to Dark Specter unless he was destroyed and I don't think he ever saw anyone within his army destroying him... but in the case of Astronema if there was meant to be a heir to him I feel that she would have been the best option.

No one was meant to be a heir to Dark Specter but if there was a villain that was meant to be his heir then it would have been Astronema.
