Villains Being Rangers

Now I'm not referring to ones who were under spells such as Tommy and Kat but I'm more referring to the actual villains.

What would you think if a villain like for example Rita or Zedd actually became a Ranger?

This only applies if a villain has turned good. What team would they be with? What would be their color?

You can consider some villains as possibly turning good if it makes sense like for example Rito and Elgar.

My friend actually predicted Rita would be the White Ranger after White Light Part 2.

I would hate it! Villains don't deserve to be Rangers. And I think Kat does count.

Ryan is a good example of this. He was a villain that became a Ranger before he was even a good guy.

It would have been cool to see Zeltrax revert to Terrance Smith and become the Triassic Ranger.

Well, the series format kind of gets in the way there. A reformed villain within the same season is fine, depending on the story, but there's no carry over anymore. It wouldn't make sense either from a story or production standpoint to do something like Karone again. The stories between two different series could be vastly different and bringing anyone back beyond a team up wouldn't make sense. Not to mention the actor probably doesn't want to deal with the four year contract that would be.

Power Rangers is far too formulaic already, so any further predictability would just make it worse as far as the story goes.

Though, I will admit Deker turned into a heroic Gedou ShinkenRed would have been amazing
