I agree that NS and DT handled MMPR stuff better than Megaforce by far. At least NS and DT still did their own thing without the half hearted pandering to nosatalgia.

But seriously, it just felt like Ninja Storm was an attempt to get back to the basics of the old days with a new age edge. Instead of Karate the teens are into extreme sports. Ninja Storm certainly still stands on its own. |

I thought having Gosei as Zordon's protege was a cool reference t the past. I like that they put in subtible nods to MMPR.
