Digimon Next: Chapter 13 Chat
Digimon NEXT, it's like the conventional Digimon season to me. It's a great contrast to the Savers anime, so it's a really good time to read it right now.
In our last adventure, Tsurugi and the gang had to withstand assaults from ground and air for Trailmon to make it to his destination, but inside the tunnel they meet Zanbamon, one of the three Commandment overlords.
Pretty exciting chapter. Tsurugi and Agumon bravely charging in to fight a Mega Digimon right after saving everyone from the Commandments army, GeoGreymon getting chopped to pieces with a single attack, and saving himself from deletion with the Mu Mark. I was on the edge of my seat reading that. Then the Commandments train shows up out of nowhere and ventilates Trailmon, I got chills. And poor Yuu, losing his mind in anger over Trailmon's death, turning Gaogamon into a data-thirsty beast! Didn't see that coming, since insane murder sprees are normally reserved for the leader.
Sorrow was the word of the day, and now all the Digimon are In-Training, and have to face Andromon and his squad of Gardromon! Hopefully they're friendly...
