Only asking this is because of the way the anime ended. With Chibiusa time traveling i doubt that their future would remain the same. With not real explanation how crystal tokyo was created, i begin to think that crystal tokyo is from a parallel realities or universes.

I begin to support this theory after seeing the episode when usagi receive the letter from her future self.
