I'm not sure whether to call A Zeo Christmas or an AU story. A Zeo Christmas is set in the future with Kat and Tommy as grandparents with their son being a ranger. Zordon is now deceased but this episode suggests that Zordon may still be alive as Tommy/Kat's son has the original style communicator with the "Go Go Power Rangers" jingle. But its also possible its a different mentor with a new command centre was rebuilt.
