Which came to fruition in Space. The whole timeline was sped up when Rita escaped and Zordon was once again back on the radar. You're exactly right. Zordon played everything perfectly but couldn't account for Rita's return. It sped up the conflict that we saw in C2D. And thats why Zordon had to make sure he made it back to Eltar when Turbo began.
