How did Princess Shayla get the morphers?
 

The ancient warriors weren't Power Rangers. Yet when Shayla wakes up she had the morpbers to give.

The morphers came from the Wild Zords. Somehow they were able to tap into the grid in the thousands of years that were in the interium. We saw Merrick get his morpher from his own Wild Zords.

Hexagon made sure they were connected to the grid by the time Shayla woke up.

Tommy likely woke Taylor up to help connect her to the grid. They she slept for a little while longer until Taylor came.

I think Zordon actually temporaly woke her up to offer her the morphing grid.

The powers took the form of whoever were the hsroes of the time. In ancient times they took their own form. In the modern day the heroes were Power Rangers.

I'd prefer that with Wild Force being so bad. It would be nice if they weren't really Power Rangers..

Forever Red confirms that they are true Power Rangers. I never said they didn't connect to the morphing grid. Just that the power given by the Wild Zords reflects the heroes of the era. Somehow they tapped into the grid where they didn't before.
