I don't think you can tell a Ranger's color based on personality. Pink Rangers have had various personality types.

Every Power Rangers season doesn't need to have or any other color. Alyssa was specifically said to be the White Ranger.

That doesn't make her Pink though. I don't think every season needs to have a Pink Ranger.

The real reason they had no Pink was because Toei experimented with not having one to sell more toys. Pink didn't usually sell a lot to young boys in Japan. They went without a Pink Rangers for a few years after too.

Sentai seemed to move away from having a Pink Ranger for a few years there and it of course carried over to PR. They ended up going back to it by Dekaranger though. And have had a lot of Pink Rangers since.
