It did seem weird. But the whole Galaxy Warriors angle is pretty strange anyway..I'm glad the Preston thing wasn't just a one episode thing and part of his abilities. It also gives Preston more character as he learns to use this power properly.

The magic angle was beyond stupid. The return of un-morphed powers is groan inducing anyway..

I'm glad we got to see some single zord action. Power Rangers always seems to focus mostly on the megazords after they are introduced.

The Brody 's car subplot was pretty nice. It was a nice moment give that it belonged to his dad.

I like Preston because he is into magic. Which interests me. I was pleasantly surprised when they gave him actual magical powers. I bet he and Xander would have been friends.
