Some fans seem to think Tommy was overpowered when he became White Ranger..

Yes! A million times yes! It was ridiculous and totally ruined the storyline he had as the Green Ranger. His time on the show was perfectly wrapped up and they brought him back as a Gary Stu. They weren't even that oblivous about it either.

I don't think so. I think he was awesome as White and it made sense for him to be the most powerful , he was the leader. It was also a reward for viewers who had to go through the highs and lows of the lost powers storyline.

Adam didn't even exist when principal production for White Light was going on.

Wasn't that the whole point? The White Light was supposed to be really powerful. Thats why it was so dangerous when Zordon and Alpha created White Ranger.. And it was really only for half a season. Season 3 Ninja White was far less powerful. Since it was a completely different power coin.

Tommy wasn't that over powered. Recreated monsters were never as strong as they were. the first time. So when Tommy faced.the fish monsters they were basically more powerful putties. He beat Goldar easy but Goldar was already a joke by that point..

Goldar was still pretty hard edged until Tommy man handled him in Green No More.

A little bit but not as bad in season 3. In Zeo and Turbo definitely not. Of course he was Red Ranger by those seasons.

To.my was amazing. Who cares if he was all powerful. I loved it shen he saved Kimberly and cut Lord Zed's staff..
