What happened to Lord Zedd?
 

We know Rita went on to become Mystic Mother ( like it or not). But what happened to Zedd post Z Wave? We don't see him with Rita in MF. Did they get a devorce?

They did always seem to deserve each other in terms of making each other miserable. I guess after turning good they felt like different people and decided to separate.

Thats a contradiction to Rita being Mystic Mother that no one talks about. Where was Lord Zedd? It seems odd that they would not still be married.

Zedd and Rita had a rocky marriage when they were evil. Its not inconceivable they got a divorce.

Another possibility is that Super Legends is canon with Zedd being restored to his evil ways....And ultimately lost in time. I actually would like to think Super Legends was canon.

I think Zedd was human just got turned inside out. Even if it wasn't by the Zeo Crystal.

Super Legends is probably the best answer. I think Zedd's disfigured form was actually his original form.

I agree I don't think Zedd was injured, that was what he looked like.

I actually think he was hurt or disfigured. Just not in the way Rita joked about. Its one event we don't know. Maybe Boom will give us its version of this.

Its not a surprise Rita and Zedd split up, they always used to fight. And Rita only married him for power.

To be fair we don't see Mystic Mother enough to know if she is still married.

Its likely Zedd would stand out far less as a regular human. He probably stayed behind the scenes and let Rita do her thing.

Its likely the got divorced. Zedd would have been more involved in the Mystic Realm otherwise.

Serious answer I don't know I did write a version of Operation Overdrive that adapted Gajah as a new form for Zedd, and my explanation was that the Z wave didn't make Zedd, and Rita good so much as it balanced out their evil with good.

And when Rita became the Mystic Mother it caused a flux in the morphing grid that put all the goodness of the universe in Rita, and all the evil into Zedd but that was it.

That he did. They really should hire Amit to write more Boom Comic Books. He would be great with storylines that addressed continuity.

I don't like the idea of Lord Zedd turning evil again. He already turned good and should stay good.

There is still a way Zedd and Rita are still married. Its not like we saw a lot of Mystic Mother. Its plausible that Zedd was in her domain, we just didn't see him.

But wouldn't Zedd be shown ruling beside her? He would presumably become a powerful force of good as well.

I think he is retired. I am not sure if Rita and Zedd ultimately stayed together though.
