Eh I didn't think she was that similar.

Mostly because she didn't have the same motivation for fighting the orgs that Jen had for fighting the mutants.

That, and she was an air force pilot instead of a police officer.

The thing is Taylor was only a hard ass to the first two episodes.She was always strong but she softened once she accepted Cole as leader.

The characters in this era of the show were way too dramatic. I really missed the MMPR days. At least the show brought back the fun with Samurai. Not liking Beast Morphers though. Reminds me of the boring SPD or RPM.

Both characters were very different. Just because two woman are strong leaders, it doesn't make them the same.

Not really...Both had different motivations and backgrounds.

They both had very different reasons to be hostile to their red's at first. Jen was because Wes reminded him of Alex. Taylor felt like she was more qualified to lead then Cole.

I don't think so. They were written completely different from my prespective.
