I think Dolibolico erased most of his memories of the tomb to perserve his sanity. He needed him to one day sneak into the Aqua Base. Later the opertunity came for him to steal a real morpher. Dolibolco could of restored the memories to drive Ryan crazy but then would have risked the Rangers knowing too many of the demon's secrets.
