View Full Version : Aishia's journey and what it meant for Tanya

During the Zeo Quest the Rangers went through time and space to search for their zeo shards. Aishia ( who is a young kid due to Vile's timeline manipulation) ends up in Africa where she meets a young girl named Tonya Sloan. Who was in the care of a African village since her parents disapeared a few years prior. Anyway, Aishia stays behind and sends Tanya in her place. The Zeo Crystal corrects the timeline. Making Tanya and Aishia both there rightful ages. With Aishia's family never having moved to America in the new timeline.

So the question is where did Aishia journey to? Did she only travel through space and not in time? Or did she travel to the real past at it should have been unaltered by Vile? We see Tanya reverts to a teenager too. So both senarios would make sense. Since Tanya appears to be in her right timeline. And I doubt they aged her prematurely. Also after everything is over it seems like Aishia is still in the present timeline, just in Africa.

It was odd how some rangers 'met' ancient grandparents and Aishia met Tonya of her own age. I loved those back in time episodes, its a shame we didn't get one last MMPR team up before Zeo.

It would have been cool. But the concept of team ups didn't really begin until Zeo with the Alien Rangers. And didn't become a mainstay until Galaxy. Since the show featured continuing casts. Also most of the MMPR season 3 cast was in Zeo. And it would have been hard to get all the original actors back.

First of all it's Tanya I think and not Tonya.
Secondly, I hated what they did about Aisha, I never liked Tanya. Aisha is one of my favourite yellow rangers. Zeo would be a much better season with her. I was mad when I saw her leaving the show like that

Thanks fixed. I'm terrible with spelling names sometimes.

Personally, I think Tanya had much more character development then Aisha. Of course Tanya was also around a little longer. But I don't see anything wrong with Tanya as a character. It would have been interesting to see Aisha in her place during Zeo and Turbo.

Actually Aisha and Tanya both lasted one and a half seasons.

Come to think of it all the yellow rangers from the Zordon era did.

Actually, you're right. I was thinking of Turbo as one season. But she was only there for half of Turbo.

I just ment seeing Tommy Adam Kat, Billy, Tanya and Rocky teaming as the Ninja rangers with the Alien Rangers, now had they done something where Jason Zack Kim and Trini came back when the rangers were small kids and they used the Powers that Zordan said would always protect them and energized Billy like they did Kimberly sharing there powers and we got one last original team up I would have been happy, however highly expensive.

it would rule to see Jason, Billy, Zack, Kimberly and Aisha as alien rangers even for one episode. Fantastic idea, well done!

Well considering what Zordon states in regards to Aisha's decision to stay in Africa, regardless of how the Orb of Doom thing actually worked, Zordon made it seem like Aisha's decision affected the course of the timeline.
Now whether it did or didn't we really have no way of knowing. I mean Tanya still had to apply for school like she was a new student so it definitely wasn't a case of just Aisha and Tanya switching places in the timeline.

There is also the fact that Angel Grove clearly doesn't remember the Alien Rangers. Granted Bulk and Skull are Bulk and Skull but if they don't recognize Cestro then it's clear that some of the timeline was changed as well and it also featured a memory wipe for ordinary humans.

Yes, the timeline changes also featured a memory wipe for ordinary humans. First with the Master Vile's, then again with the Zeo Crystal's. In both timelines, no-body remembers of 1 team of Power Rangers.

If they would have done an episode arc or even a movie that resolves around Master Vile's time manipulation and Zeo Crystal's time returning to normal, that would be interesting to see, even if we wouldn't see any of the Rangers morphed in it.

But the question is now does Aisha still remember being a Ranger and does she still remember of her life in Stone Canyon and Angel Grove or did the Zeo Crystal wipe out her memory too if the Rangers trully travelled trough time and space and not space only?

That is what I'm wondering. Does Aisha even remember that she was a Ranger?
Does anyone in Angel Grove even remember Aisha?

It seemed like Tanya was possibly staying with Kat (from what it sounded like Kat said in Zeo's "The Lore of Auric") yet Kat didn't give any indication that Aisha remembered her but she never said 1 way or the other.

So basically it could go either way.

Either A. Everyone including Aisha but excluding Zordon, Alpha, the villains and the Rangers got the memory wipe.
B. Everyone excluding Aisha, Zordon, Alpha, the Rangers and the villains kept their memories.

Basically either one is possible and it wouldn't really go against anything that was stated on-screen.

You know I really haven't thought about Aishia and if she had her memories. I do think I thought of it when the episode aired. But that was years ago. She seemed to be conscious of something. Since we saw her returning and hugging her Great Aunt.

You know I do wonder if Aisha actually does remember stuff. Since in the 2nd Zeo ep, Tanya states that she'll be staying with Kat so that does support that it's not a case of switching timelines since Aisha had her own place.

Also like I stated in a previous post, Kat states in the same ep how they had to enroll Tanya at Angel Grove High so that's another thing.

Also in the Auric episode, the mail is sent to Kat's house and I find it fishy that Aisha would actually know of that. Sure, it's possible she and Tanya could have communicated between eps..... but then again who knows.
