On a similar note, I also heard that since they're not saving as much money by filming in New Zealand anymore, there's a pretty good chance that they'll be moving to Canada if PR continues. Nothing's set in stone though.

Wow, that would be a big change. But it would be nice to have the show back in North America again. It would probably make it a lot easier to get old cast members back. Well accept for the ones living in NZ. We will also get some new filming locations. Of course the crew would probably be a lot different too. Since they wouldn't be working with Village Roadshow. Any word on what this would mean for the Executive Producers?

This would be great.

Aussie/Kiwi actors are generally crappy and have those annoying accent slips.

Theres a much better and more diverse talent pool in Canada and much better shooting locations.

Hopefully they start casting in Toronto again.

This is really great news PA. Let's just hope this news is nothing more than mixed information.

Yeah, well nothing's been cemented in stone, but it'd be an interesting change indeed.

That can also bring the possibility of old PR crew members returning! Holy crap! If this happened, it would be like MMPR all over again.

That seems very unlikely. Most of the old crew has moved on with their lives. Its possible we could end up with some sort of crew change ( actually a lot of production changes, since we would be losing Village Roadshow). But its doubtful that they would rehire everyone. And pretty much impossible. Its like the New York Yankees trying to resemble the 96 Yankee's player for player. Just isn't going to happen.

Wow, this is awesome news. If they decide on Canada, I hope they choose near Vancouver. :)

Very unlikely, but even more unlikely if they stay in New Zealand. Just saying.

This should be good if it gets back to the US for Generation 15. I wonder if that would also mean we could see Tommy , Jason or some of the other Rangers from the Saban era if this happened.

Canada is North America, but it's not the United States.

And it takes strings more than location to get old cast members back on the show, hence why Jason Frank and Johnny Bosch made return appearances despite the series being shot in New Zealand.

Any update on the location change?
